Après une série de singles et un EP, "Dunkers" au printemps 2015, le duo parisien Milan a lâché la rampe et finit de sauter dans le vide la tête la première, à la recherche d'une identité plus tranchée encore afin de remplir ce qui allait devenir leur premier véritable album.

Milan repousse les frontières de son singulier mélange post-punk crade, agressif et déconcertant. "Signaux" est une explosion larvée portée par la batterie de Sébastien Forrester, les boucles entêtantes et la voix habitée de Corentin Gallet, alternant français et anglais pour porter son message d'explosion imminente. Une urgence qui se niche dans les grooves ténébreux des morceaux, dans chaque mot qui porte en eux un instant de rage trop longtemps contenu.

"Signaux" n'est pas un chemin à suivre, c'est un avertissement en direction de nous tous, du collectif et de l'individu. La manifestation d'une rage pure et intense, un geste sans compromis habillé du style intemporel d'un duo singulier, difficile à fixer avec précision au-delà de sa musique.

After several singles and a first EP, “Dunkers”, released on Spring 2015 on the French record label Fin De Siècle, the French Parisian duo Milan chose to jump off the cliff head first, looking for a more matured identity in order to fill in what was about to become their first real long play. On “Signaux” (Signals in French), released next February 3rd, Milan pushes the boundaries of its uncanny blend of a dirty, aggressive and disturbing modern post-punk music.

“Signaux” is moved by a fear of implosion, driven by Sebastien Forrester drums, the throbbing repetition of loops and Corentin Gallet’s haunted voice, switching between French and English. A feeling of emergency is nestled in the murky grooves of every track, in every word which brings along a feeling of rage kept in for too long. “Signaux” is not a path to follow, it is a warning to everyone, from the society to each individual. The pure manifestation of an intense anger, a movement without compromise that reveals the band’s timeless approach.
